We have had a pretty tough time of late with deaths and illnesses in the family.
OH's Uncle passed away in June - he had cancer.
Then my dear Nan died on 13th July - she was 94 y.o. - God Bless Her,
and now my best friend's Mother passed away at 3 a.m. this morning.
She was a very dear friend of ours.
In amongst all this, my daughter has been into hospital and had surgery - appendicitis - and they discovered a cyst on her right ovary, and a tumour on her appendix.
They say you get runs like this, but here's hoping there's no more bad news ahead for us -
you can only take so much.
thanks for listening,
Louise xx

I am so sorry to hear you have had such a bad time of it lately Louise ;(
That is a lot more loss and sadness than people should have to deal with at one time. You are a strong woman, and you have your family and friends to help you through the hard times :)
I do hope Loz is ok though?
My thoughts are with you, and lots of      I do hope things start looking up for you from now on :)

Hi Louise
That is truly tragic and I'm sorry that you and all involved have had to go through such an ordeal. Losing a loved one is like a losing a part of you, and its not fair we shouldn't have to go through such a thing. Have you heard anymore about your daughter's tumor if it is benign? May your family and friends be close and supportive of one another and if you are spiritual I urge you to pray for strength and endurance to get through such a time.
Many hugs,
Sheree

Thanks so much Leigh and Sheree.
Loz's tumour was a malignant carcinoid tumour - whatever that means !!!! LOL
They are pretty sure all will be okay - as the tumour was removed with the appendix. She has more tests to go through next week - blood tests, and a cat scan where she has to drink this yucky "stuff" and get a dye injected - she won't be very happy that she has to have this test AGAIN !!! LOL
She is still not well, and I'm a little (well, okay, a LOT) worried about her -
as mums do. It's a mother's privelege, isn't it ???
will keep you updated,
Thanks again,
Louise :)

Oh Louise,
Sending you lots of hugs!  What a terrible time you have had of late ;(
I really hope Loz is okay, sending you all the positive vibes I can your way. Please keep us updated, I can imagine just how stressed and worried you are about her, I'd be the same if it were Erin ;(
Another  for good measure!
;( Oh Louise, I am so sorry. It sure has been a rough couple of months for you and your family. Hopefully Loz will be well again very soon.
Losing a loved one is always hard. Just know that as long as they are in your heart, they are still with you!!
Hugs Louise.

Louise there seems to be a lot of sadness around at present but there are plenty of willing ears and hugs to go around.
Hi Louise... I too have been through times where there was so much pain and sadness (during my father's fight with leukaemia, and his eventual passing). What carried me and my family through were the well-wishes and love of our family and friends... but almost more importantly, total strangers who opened their hearts (and their arms) when we needed them, and offered support and friendship when they didn't need to. I will always be so thankful to all of those people, and am hoping that you and your family will experience the same thing. It truly gave me back my faith in my fellow humans:). Love and hugs to you and yours  ... Heather

Louise,
I'm sorry to hear that you and your family have been through such a hard time lately and I hope that things start to improve for you all. Having one close death to cope with is bad enough, yet alone the amount that you've had lately. I too lost my Nan this week and her funeral is on Monday...not looking forward to that.
Hope your daughter is improving and that everything works out ok.
Julie
