  1. Qld floods

These poor buggers imagine having to leave your home:( They did a mandatory evacuation from St George yesterday and the floodwaters are expected to move down into NSW over the next few weeks? Its unreal just how much water is out there destroying peoples lives. This is the third year in a row for some of these towns you wonder when enough is enough for some people :(

  2. Solariums Banned

The New South Wales Government has become the first in the country to announce it is banning all solariums. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-02-04/nsw-bans-solariums/3811454 About time I say! I find it hard to believe so many people still actually use them when the dangers are so well known. I know a few people who have been using them for years and honestly they look like dried up old leather anyway!

  4. Farewell to Sam the yellow Wiggle :(

I don't know about any of you ladies, but my son was a massive fan of the Wiggles (and still is at times lol) which meant we had all the dvd's, cd's and toys etc. But after what they've done to Sam Moran, I won't be contributing to their already bulging bank balances. Read more here Sam was just used by them and callously tossed aside because Jeff missed Gregs voice? Seriously??? They really are just cockroaches aren't they.

  7. Womens Weekly - nude cover.

Has anyone seen cover of this months Womens Weekly? With nude photograph of Deborah Hutton I think its tacky and publicity seeking on the part of Deborah Hutton - and hypoctitical on part of magazine - even is she is not at all airbrushed (highly unlikely,IMO ) it doesnt sit well with an article on body image issues - if they wanted to preach that women should accept their body and celebrate its differences etc - then at least have the integrity to put a photo of an everyday woman with...

  16. Need to know about - ARSONIST, MURDERER, & piece of s**t !

I am just wondering how this nurse Roger Dean (alleged arsonist & murderer) treated the patients before this happened. I would be very interested in knowing:- - what the other nurses have to say about him. - did he treat his patients with respect and kindness? Or did he always have a mean streak? - did he have references before he came to work there? Were they checked out properly? - were there any complaints about him? Or were the elderly too scared or too infirm to...

  20. Entire Qantas fleet grounded.

Am I wrong in thinking this is a first in an industrial dispute? Wow, it's a huge move. Look, I'm kind of hoping that for me there are personal benefits (S might not be able to travel this week, yay!) but from an objective point of view, that is just an enormous nightmare for so many people! Even if it only lasts a couple of days, the flow on effects are going to last for weeks.

:( Another toddler has been killed in a drive way accident. It's the third in the media this week ... I can't imagine how devastating it is for the families, and it's just horrific to read it and think, why?
