Today is my first day of going to back to study. I tried a few years ago, but life got in the way. I am doing it by distance, but full time (I don't think we would all cope if I had to go into the city every day!) and am excited but very nervous. I am studying nutritional medicine, at an alternative medicine college, so sort of like naturopathy. I thought if nothing else it will give me good information to have just for my family friends but hen I finish my youngest will be going into...
So I have given thought to different options. I am now looking to do private babysitting, which then means I can homeschool dd. Pros: Better learning environment for her Individualised program Predictable structure Social groups within the homeschooling environment Cons: Reduced access to large peer groups
Should children be able to dress themselves? Tie up shoe laces? Use a knife and a fork properly? Get their own drinks (from the tap or the fridge)?

Hi Girls, hope you can help. I hate my job and most aspects of my life. I moved to Oz from UK 3 years ago after a v bad heartbreak. I was a teacher in the UK but unable to teach here for various reasons (basically I would have to go redo my whole education again) So I have been working in the corporate world for 3 years where I met my partner (been together 2 ½ years and have bought a house) I am nearly 30 not married, no kids (partner wants to wait until we have more money and pay more off...
Probably no one ever checks their child's temperature as much as I do...but DDs is often low, especially when sleeping it can get as low as 34.8 degrees Celsius. Currently she is at 35.2. It scares me and I wonder why it gets this low? Is it just normal for her or is there something more sinister going on? Her normal daytime temp is 36.5ish, as is mine. Does anyone else have low body temperature?
you don't get that long for murder
How do/would you feel about getting a picture painted by your student as an end of year present? Hugo absolutely adores his teacher, so much so that when I told him this is the last week of school he was really upset because he's going to miss her. We contributed towards the combined class present (which will be a gift card of some kind) but he was really keen to make something for her so I bought a canvas board and he did a painting. I know she will be really nice to him when she opens it, and...
Hello ladies, figure I can let y'all know what has been happening! It all happened 5 years ago, when Declan was 3 weeks old, baby in arms, browsing the net I thought I would do a search on family and friends user names, I put in my ex's, pressed search and OMFG well well well, if it was not his profile on an adult site, saying he was not married, and looking for fu** buddies. This of course he denied, saying someone else must have posted it (um, ok, surely they would have used a...
