As to me, I have just been the bridesmaid for my elder female cousin, and I enjoyed the happiness and love so deep……of course so touched as well! So how about U? let's just share the niceness.........:haha:

I'm getting this a lot lately now that Sophia is going to preschool and doing more activities. Her name is Sophia (obviously) but we often call her Sophie. I have had several people comment on this lately, and someone even suggested to me that I should decide what her name really is :brow: Der. We have decided. We know what her name is. She knows what her name is. It's not as if we're giving her a nickname that bears no relation to her given name. It really annoys me. If we were pedantic...

So I'm checking out the proposed public holidays for 2011 here - http://www.justice.qld.gov.au/fair-and-safe-work/industrial-relations/public-holidays/public-holiday-dates-for-2008-2013 (dunno how to pretty links up) and it looks like Easter will either be a TOTAL rip off, or a MEGA 5 day weekend bonus!!! I'm looking at this from a Qld point of view however with both holidays being National, it will affect all of us one way or another. Let me explain. Easter 2011 begins with Good Friday...

We won an Xbox console with the guitar hero with it on ebay last night we need to pick it up from Ashfield which is like an hour from us... i just got a message from them saying that pick up is from Ahfield station at 6.15pm No way am i picking it up from a station + the kids will be at my mums i need to get them home to bed for school in the morning & feed them. But i don't think picking an item up this size is a good idea from the station!

must be a nightmare for some... DH and I went to an area to check out a nice place to have a coffee with a friend later in the day. While there, I found this quaint little dress shop( well it was actually 2 shops that were joined)..went in, saw the hat I thought was just too cute, wanted it even if I never ever wore it.(spoilt I know). My youngest daughter has been in this competition, for the past two months It is run by the Edge radio station, seemingly you enter your flatmates, they had to complete a hole lot of challengers, It is now up to public voting, so just a matter of getting as many people to vote as you can The prize is five days in the Gold coast in Aussie staying at some flash hotel and some outing paid for, she has never been to Aussie was wondering if any of you lot would like to vote you are allowed to...

i am off to the big smoke tomorrow for 3 days to meet up with 2 cousins, 1 i have not seen for 38years and the other i have never met. they are from victoria and are coming here to meet a cruise ship then cruise back home to victoria, they call it the love boat, i think it sounds great. i am looking forward to seeing them and their partners.will utilise my time well,must visit the zoo and see the baby elephants and the new hippo then to the aquarium to have a look at the new baby dugongs,does...

I just sat & typed a post & before i could press submit it just disappeared :blink: i have often had a few words from the beginning of a post go but this was the whole post . Anyone else have that happen?

Today my Dad was driving down to the corner store and was stopped to give way at the intersection at the end of their street. He was just about to go when a dodgy young guy, Dad rekons about 18 jumped IN the passenger seat. He asked Dad to drive him into the city, about a half an hours drive and Dad said "No, but I will take you down the road". He then pulled into the service station as their were a few people around and the guy got a bit aggresive and said that he didnt want to be dropped off...
