Hi everyone :) I am about to start a clerkship at a top law firm, but I am not entirely sure what to wear. Some people in the office seem to be dressed quite casually, but others are in full suits. On the first day I was thinking I would wear a full suit, but I do not want to be over/under dressed the rest of the time. I really want to fit in and do a great job, so I don't want to have to worry about what I am wearing, so if anyone has any tips/suggestions I would really appreciate it. ...

to get a hat to get me through the post-shave awkwardness ... for some reason I had in my mind that Myer had quite a good range of millinery. But you know what? Not a SINGLE hat (at least the store I went to) ... so does anyone know where I can get a nice hat ... not a dressy, posh, wedding/races type hat, but something casual but a bit different? Online is good too.

isnt Polar fleece the best fabric for winter jerseys....it never seems to wear out... i have a few jersey tops from over 10 years ago and they still have plenty of warmth left in them....

do you have all your clothes in your wardrobe or like me do you pack up winter or summer as you dont have the room to have all your clothes in the wardrobe at once...:) its coming up for the changeover time of year, and gees its a whole day job...:blink: you know unpacking and ironing everything.... and then packing away the summer lot......

Does any one else have trouble with the under wire in your bra working its way out, doesn't matter how expensive the bra is either, and yes I do wash them in a delicate bag I't not so bad when it happens at home but bloody embarrassing when your out sitting there having a serious conversation in mixed company and this god dam wire is standing straight up out of your clothes nearly poking you in the eye, and all this time I thought these men were looking at my boobs :blink:

I have some nice pj's, pants and tops, and must confess they blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor wear.....I went on holiday to New Caledonia recently and I wore my favourite Peter Alexander wide-legged cotton pants out all the time, with a tank top...kind of 30's I thought.I have other items I wear out and they serve as casual clothing.

I'm having trouble finding long floor length satin or silk nightgowns online, or even in shops. I'm actually after a range called LOVABLE, but they are gowns that are hard to get. People have told me they're are lots of lingerie stores around that have long nightgowns, but I cant seem to find any. Can anyone help me with some good shops in their area? If I get a name I can always look them up.

OK, so its my brothers huge wedding on Saturday. With everything going on with me I left it late to get anything. But on monday i stepped out of the office and I tried on many dresses but they sucked. I found a lovely top, but.... I'm not sure its suitable. It looks lovely on me, but it is black and gold with a bit of white...kind of like a leopard pattern but not. I'd wear it with black pants. Can I wear that to a wedding???
