    Stained skin from hair dye

I think Pam and I came up with everything there is yesterday, but thought someone may have a magic cure?
I have never had this problem before, maybe because it is such a dark rich colour. I have a big splotch on my hair line, near my ear..on my face! and do you think I can get it off?
Tried lots of scrubbing and shampoo, nope... toothpaste, hairspray, handsoap, face cleanser..nope..... not even nail polish remover worked!

It's just this one spot left now, and it looks like a birth mark LOL...maybe the skin is burnt in that spot now

Not sure if this will work now that the stain has had time to set, but when I'm colouring my hair, and I notice some of the dye on my skin, I use a face washer dipped in a small amount of the hair dye.

Sounds strange but it actually does work.

ahhh Okay, a bit like if you have no nailpolish remover - simply apply nail polish and wipe it off whilst wet..takes off all the nail polish

Leigh, just do a spot test first LOLLOL incase Jewly is tricking

Yeah thats what i do...put some conditioner all around your hair line and ears before you start and it won't stain but make sure if there is some on there to try and wipe it off straight away and apply more conditioner just in case!!
I bought some cheap conditioner to use just for colouring my hair so i don't use up all my good stuff!!

    Lol @ Pam...no I'm not tricking....it really does work.

I'm sitting here right now with colour in my hair....covering up all those nasty little grey hairs. I got some on my arm, and my face, and I simply wiped it off using some of the colour on a face washer..simple!!!

You could have told me that yesterday Jewly

Will have to have a go with the shampoo and conditioner again when I wash it later.

What colour are you putting in Jewly?

( I probably should have brushed it first )

Leigh, what a stunning colour!! Beautiful!

Good luck getting the dye off! When I do Mum's for her, I also use Shampoo or conditioner to remove the colour from her face, ears and neck.

I would have told you yesterday had you asked...

I have very dark brown, almost black hair naturally but I get a fewgrey hairs around the sides and through my fringe, so I just put in a dark brown to cover those up. Noothing fancy...unlike you.

    Love the colour you have!!!

Oh dear... I have uncontrollable curly hair, and I seem to always end up with dye everywhere!!! Have you tried makeup remover (for waterproof eye makeup), that sometimes works for me. And if you believe my mum, try dabbing lemon juice on the stain and leaving it there, apparently it will fade the stain (what would we do without our mums?? hehe) Good luck... great colour, by the way!!!
