    New skincare causing blackhead breakout!

When I bought my hubs Clinique skincare as par of his Dads Day gift, the Clinique lady gave me the 3 step skincare program to try. I was going to buy new skincare anyway as mine was running out so I thought, excellent!

Anyway, after 2 days, I noticed 3 small blackheads on my lower left cheek, they're not disgusting but I dont normally get these. Does this mean its good or bad? I need to make a decision whether to buy the Clinique as the samples are running out and I do actually like the way my skin looks bar the blackheads.

Im thinking these little blackies are being drawn out and the Clinique is doing my skin good. Am I right or am I wrong? (and while Im at it, how do I get rid of these nasty blackies?)

    Cheers big!

I had a similar problem, and thought it was just me. I got the 3 step program for my birthday ( Thanks Floria )
I haven't used much on my face in god knows how long. The first few days, it was not at all happy, and I also broken out with some pimples (partly use to that time of the month) I kept using it tho, and it has settled down.
I have noticed a marked improvement in my skin

Sorry can't help with how to get rid of the blackheads. The beat thing I found when I used to get them, was those sticky patch things.

Might be worthwhile speaking to a Clinique consultant if you are generally happy with the product.

Clinque have a 7 Day Scrub product which might be good for your blackheads, you know exfoliate and stuff like that.

I've found this happens with any new facial program I use. It means it working as all the stuff is being drawn out of your face. I agree with Leigh, the blackhead patches are great. They say to use them only on your nose but i've been using them on my chin for ages and never had any problems. A good peel off mask will help remove them too.....stick with it and i'm sure it will be no time before you start seeing better results!

Hi I'm not sure about this one, as i only use 100% orgainc certified and natural product now, cause when i use to use those normal ones i had the same problem, with break outs and stuff. But now not one, it even got rid of my red puffy eyes and bags and broken skin. As soon as i try one of those with chemicals my skin breakes out, maybe its whats in it? i dont know just a thought

Well, the blackheads have fallen off! I exfoliated a couple of times and they seem to have disappeared. I've also bought the skincare that caused them (!) but I spoke to the lady that served me originally at Clinique and she told me the blackheads were just drawn out with the new skincare. Its that 3 Step Program, and I swear there is a huge difference in my skin and only after a week and a bit. Money well invested, me thinks.
    Thanks for the thoughts girls!
