Buy your normal sausages and parboil them.
Drain and when cool slice into thick pieces.
Heat some oil in a heavy frypan, add chopped onion and curry powder to taste (2-3 tsp usually) until onion is transparent.
    Add sausages and brown llightly.
Add stock of choice (or water) and thickly sliced carrots (or whatever fibrous vege suits you)
Bring to boil, lower heat to simmer and cover pan.
Give a stir every now and then and to check liquid level adding stock/water if necessary.
About 20 mins before serving add celery and peas, stir and cover again.
Just prior to serving add some cornflour mixed with water (if necessary) to thicken.
Easy, inexpensive and no complaints yet.
I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

Thanks, the one with the apple sounds good to me, and I would definitely add the sultanas too!

    It is really easy Josie,
Sometimes I cut the sausages. It all depends on who turns up for dinner,
you can make it go further if you cut them.

...too late for this one too but we are having curried sausages tonight...

I boil my snags and peel the skin off...put the smallest bit of oil in a frypan and cook onion, galic, then add curry powder (heaps )...I also add frozen mixed vegies (good for the kids)...I add a bit of water and let it simmer for a while (depends when the kids get hungry ). If it need thickening, I use cornflour...but not often.
