Shoes
At the moment I mostly wear birkenstock sandals, hardly ever wear anything else unless I have to get dressed up (infrequent these days, lol).
But I'll need a new pair of covered shoes for winter so I've been having a look at the shops. I usually buy Colorada shoes but I had lots of problems with the last pair I bought so I was thinking somthing like this (in brown).
What do you think?

Re: Shoes
Do you like boots? There are alot of nice boots out there lately.
I'm not sure how you dress to know if the shoes are alright. They are nice shoes but do they go with nearly everything you wear?

Re: Shoes
I went to rivers to get some boots for practical uses. Im not one for heals, just too damn clumsy and boots go well with jeans or shorts (well I wont look like a complete clod). Im not a keen shopper so I go in hoping I can make a quick purchase for the basic stuff I need and get the hell out. The other half had a rivers gift voucher which he never bothered using and was about to expire. I took it in thinking womens boots, practical, I'll find something. I didnt. The womens were all tight and uncomfortable, only for looks and street walking (if that). There wasnt one pair without heals. Im not petite in the foot area, Im a size 8 1/2 so I thought bugger it Ill try the mens, they look heaps better. The smallest size they had in mens was a 7. They werent too bad I just wear thick socks and get by ok. Their mens range was 3 times the quantity of womens. The ones Ive got have lasted well and had alot of compliments even when theyve been bashed about by camping. If all else fails for comfort, go mens, the manufacturers must just believe that women dont care about comfort unless we want to buy nursing shoes from the chemist. Hence I dont go much for shopping. Sick and tired of flashy uncomfortable clothes that dont last and cost twice as much as mens. In tens years time Im sure Ill be submitting to flanny shirts, jeans and runners, stuff the fashion I grew out of that when I was 18, I just want to be comfy and not look like a bogan.
