    Re: Jewellery

I love jewellery!!!! Gold~! Silver! BLING! haha...anything! I have a preference for gold, but i'd wear silver too! I love diamonds, but wear more pearls than diamonds!

I even love zirchons! Anything!!!! Bring it on! A girl can't have too many jewels!

I have a gorgoeus inca rose pendant my DH gave me from Argentina (their national stone) and some Lapaslazuli from Chile (their national stone) which are more precious to me than diamonds....just due to the memories!

But i also have some beautiful bangles and necklaces that my DD made when she was beading that are very precious too! I've strung them up in my bedroom..along with my milllion scarves...our bedroom looks like a massage parlour with all the RED, Jewels and Egypitan Scarves and coin belts!

Jewellery is an expression of self i think....and there are so many ways to wear it! I have some fabulous brooches and necklaces and anklets and waist chains.

Interesting what you said about earrings setting an outfit off...i reckon they can really ruin an outfit sometimes too! I've seen people wear over-the-top earrings along with a necklace...when the outfit needed one or the other! But then, i've seen people creatively arrange a HEAP of jewellery on themselves and it look brilliant!

Oh, and a gorgeus 'something' in the hair is a good substitute, if you feel like jazzing up an outfit but can't wear earrings

I love jewellery! Can you tell

In the last year, I have bought/been given/claimed so much costume jewellery but I am very lucky!!! OH's neice makes jewellery and she is very good at it, many people have asked me where I bought those earrings, did you buy them from Myer? And I say,'No handmade actually!'. She has a real knack.

    I love jewellery too Jaide....

    Re: Jewellery

I have a lot of jewellery....love it....last February, I had a charm bracelet made up with pendants and rings that I no longer wear.....lots of bling there.
I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

I've never been a big jewellry person....I always wore my wedding & engagement rings and gold sleepers but then my hubby bought me a Tiffany necklace in May and I bought a silver bracelet in Canterbury as a momento of a beautiful summer so I guess you could say I'm learning to like it

    Re: Jewellery

I love wearing jewellery also! I have heaps and heaps of it. But unfortunate thing is I can't wear any to work. I have alot of basic gold jewellery like necklaces I wear all the time, earrings, rings, bracelet and bangle (thats my day to day stuff) all my other jewellery is that fashion stuff from diva, equip etc and I'll just wear them if I want to feel nice one day or if I'm going out for the night

Nicole, i know what you mean! I'm the same!! I don't wear much to work, and don't go out to many places requiring Dress Ups actually..but i do own heaps! But ah, it's not the wearing that counts eh, it's the owning! (well i don't really know about that, i made it up, but it sounds good! haha!) I do love jewellery tho!
