"Lucky" by Alice Sebold - she also wrote Lovely Bones. It is probably not everyone's cup of tea as both books deal with rape.

It is a fantastic book - I love Jodi's writing style.

Have you read My Sisters Keeper? They are making it into a movie - it is being released at the end of June and if you thought The Notebook by Nicolas Sparks was sad, just listening to the music on the trailer is enough to get me going...it is a sad book and probably and ever sadder movie. The girl that plays Kate (Sofia Vassilieva - she plays Ariel in Medium) stand out performance. Also stars Abigail Breslin (from Little Miss Sunshine) and Cameron Diaz.

Act like a lady, think like a man by Steve Harvey - Every woman should read this book, it is so true what he says and it teaches us allot about men
