    Question Sports

What sport do you like to play? Are you a team player or a lone sportsman? Do you like to play for fitness or for fun?

I like to play tennis socially and walking for fitness.

No, very unsporty here. I hate watching it on TV even more.

I used to play netball, softball, soccer and Horse ride. But once the kids came along, that was the end of that. Wouldn't mind getting back into netball, but the thought of wear one of those skirts again is a bit

I used to play Netball, Tennis and Squash ..but those days seem to be gone as I don't have the desire to play now.

I'm not interested in watching sport on tv.

Heheh Gail all you would need to add in there was motorcar racing OH wants to take me to the drags which would prolly be fun but I am still thinking about it LOL. He loves his cars and I like them to a point but then it sort of gets too much and I hate it again

    Re: Sports

I like racing, just not drag racing. A little boring and noisey. At the track we have near here, they have street meets. Which are street cars racing each other, We enjoy going to watch those.
I enjoy watching the V8's on TV, I am not allowed to go to the races anymore. Because I get bored after 20mins LOL

    Re: Sports

I have had a couple of knee reconstructions so I am limited to walking, swimming and cycling. That's okay really because I wasn't much of a sporty person.

I used to play tennis since I was 5 until I was 6 months pregnant with no 2 child I would like to start playing again. I also love walking- great bike track here around the lake to walk along- but don't do it enough these days ( someone taught me how to use the internet so no time to walk )

I also love watching any sport on tv except wrestling and boxing. When the tennis is on I survive on about 5 hours sleep (sometimes less) a night.

If I get a bit fitter I might join the ladies soccer team next season

    Re: Sports

Mel I love watching the tennis on the tele as well... I always miss the o/s tournaments because they show them at 1am in the morning... or they don't show them at all (on free tv).. Another reason to get Foxtel i guess.. Whos your fave tennis player? I've always liked Safin (wanted him to win the Aus Open) and Aggassi will always be a fave too... Federer and Roddick just annoy me now. As for womens...Sharipova has to be the most annoying vocally LOL.

I am probably one of the most uncoordinated people you will ever come across
I did play netball for a little while but wasnt very good at it.
I go to the gym, I do weights and fast-ish walking on the treadmill (if I run I look ridiculous, and would probably fall off anyway).
It is funny because my partner is SUCH a sportsperson and he cannot understand why it just doesnt appeal to me.
