Never read her books Sandy - do you have a book of hers you can recommend - would like to give her a try. Finally got The Lovely bones - little sceptic - hope the books better than the movie.

Thanks Sandy - popped into the bookstore today and placed on order. A brief write up on The Elephant Whisperer (Learning about life, loyalty, and freedom from a remarkable herd of elephants) caught my eye - When you're feeling down and out and defeated and ready to give up, read this inspiring story - sounded quite interesting, so I bought it and I am nine chapters thru and it IS truly remarkable. (Afraid Stieg Larsson has been shelved for now!!)
