Re: Who has been to see Mamma Mia
OH Mrs B, we may have been to the same session. I saw it on Saturday arvo, my 10yr old loved it. I was with a big group and they all loved too.
I loved the set, the music and thought it was a impeccable production, but overall I found myself bored and restless.
The sex jokes / scenes although tame, very smutty and vulgar, reminding me of Benny Hill and those horrible Carry On films, I really thought if those scenes were omitted no one would have noticed.
However I thoroughly enjoyed the very very sexy young men dancing and leaping about on the stage without their shirts........ooh yeah. So that and the ABBA music of course saved the day for me.

I'd love to see it - only seen the Meryl Streep movie (saw it at the movies and bought the DVD).

Haven't seen the live show........and no real desire to........but loved the movie..........just loved it........in fact I could sit down and watch it right now. Could have something to do with Colin Firth.........who is just gorgeous, IMO.

I loved the movie, I have it and have watched it more than once, which is unusual for me..............unless it's a Johnny Depp one.
