I HATE doing the weekly money books...always comes down to me and I'm not even good at math
Its depressing seeing more money go out than come in.....and its always a bloody juggle to fit everything in in the right time space to avoid late fees etc

Save a little each pay and b4 you know it you have decent savings and Choices!

PP have you got a friend who is finacally sound , if so ask them how they got like that....
they may have quite a few handy hints for you.....

PP Never let an aquaintance or a friend know your private OR personal details, unless they are a good friend that you know & trust really well, especially if you like to keep private matters private .
Do you know anyone studying finance even your councillor may be able to put you onto someone that would be able to help you

I agree with MOC your financial business is yours and your DH's business...
i would recommend a help line , i think the Salvo's have finacial counselling....

its not easy to make ends meet but i think they can make things easier....for you.

Thanx girls....Its just I'm not that good at math so everything thing gets muddled etc, I am thinking about doing a business/accounting type course from home so I can gain some new skills in that area
