Re: Alice in Wonderland
Think I will wait until I hear what you have to say. Not got very good reviews in our press. Some cinemas are refusing to show it as the distributors want to release it on DVD after 11 weeks instead of the usual 17 and the cinemas are not happy.

Re: Alice in Wonderland
I saw the preview and it looks quite good, but agree not for little ones, though looks a bit on the scary side for the young. Let us know if its worth seeing.

Re: Alice in Wonderland
I didn't realise it was 3D until the other day....apparently not as good quality as the Avatar movie tho'......who cares, Johnny Depp almost on my lap, I'm salivating as I type

I've heard nothing but good critiques from the media here and I'm going to see it as soon as I can.Weather it be or weather it not Heather complains 'cause it's far from hot

Re: Alice in Wonderland
Saw it on Wednesday night in George St - lots of people had costumes on and were all dressed up - few celebrities were there - I loved it that much I am seeing it again (free of course) on Saturday night.

I think it proves that Lewis Carroll was smoking something when he penned it.

Re: Alice in Wonderland
Yes Alice does looked a bit stoned - the person that steals the show is the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter). I would also say this is more of a Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

Re: Alice in Wonderland
OK I've been and seen
I saw it in 3D and I think Johnny was great as usual.
The red Queen was good but the white Queen annoyed the crap out of me, what was with the hand thing???
I'd like to see it again but not in 3D this time. I'm not sure I liked 3D it made my eyes sore.
I'd buy the DVD just because Johnny is in it :-)
