Really? You both seeing it twice? I so want to see it, but my GF laughed when I suggested it. Might see the Blind Side tomorrow then see Alice with my DD.

I have seen it in 2D and 3D - it really is very clever.

    Re: Alice in Wonderland

I saw this movie on Monday. Yes it was quite weird (What Tim Burton film isn't lol!?) but I enjoyed it. Johnny Depp steals the show of course, as the Mad Hatter. I think Helena Bonham Carter was quite good as the red queen. The girl that plays Alice is a young actress from Canberra. She reminded me of the young girl from Atonement.

Nothing like the Walt Disney classic though.

    I give it an 8/10

    Didn't see the 3d version

What age group (of kids) would you think it's suitable for? My DD (6) thinks she'd like to see it (I'd wait for DVD) but I think it looks too old for her.

    Get well soon Cackle.

    Re: Alice in Wonderland

I just didn't find it that entertaining. The only thing it had going fo rit was the fact it was 3D but the movement of the camera was to fast and you couldn't focus on most of it anyway. It wasn't the Alice in Wonderland I know, it wasn't gripping or particularly funny, the only character they really got perfect was the March Hare.

We saw it in 3D last night..I didn't mind it. Was as bad as I was expecting from reviews I had read.
