    Re: Alice in Wonderland

A friend just took her 8 and 7 year olds to see it. I don't think there's anything too scary in it.

Well I saw it again on Saturday night and still think it is great - 3D is fantastic - thought the cat was brilliant.

There were lots of kids at both sessions - noisy in fact and a bit of crying - lots of people were not happy.

I thought it was worth paying for to see at the movies. Glad I went and saw it really because I was a bit dubious after reading some of the bad feedback about it.

I think it was a lot darker and sombre than a lot of people thought it was going to be but with Tim Burton behind the wheel what did they expect? A lot of younger kids got taken out in tears I noticed.

I wonder what parts frightened them? I didn't think it was scary.

Some of them I think maybe were just too young....I'm talking about 3-5yo here, not older children around 10-12yo. A lot were disturbed during the Hatter's execution scene. Oh and the Bandersnatch scared them too. One mum spent more time out of the movie than she did in it because her youngest one kept freaking out about the Cheshire Cat.
