I too have a friend who has embraced "spirituality" in a big way and reading your post my first thought was........that sounds like something **** would say.

Whilst I have never felt the need to go down this path so cannot speak with any authority on the subject.....I really feel that "spirituality" is an internal state of being and not a state that requires or demands a physical demonstration.

The masseurs actions were, as others have said, way out of line......and for your friend to NOT feel this...then perhaps she did solicit the advances in some way.

If your friend is a "good" friend then she needs your help and support to see that this incident is not "normal" but if like my friend, she is more of a close aqaintance then all we can do is accept their differences and let them know we just don't "get it".

Either way I don't think I would be going to her massuer.
