How long did you breast feed for?
and
What is an appropriate age to you that you would breast feed until? These little wagons hitched themselves to my star...

The required 6 months....felt like a Milch Cow the whole time.

Re: Those who breast fed...
I think this is a personal choice PP, each to their Own darl, I breast fed Jay for 3 years, and Bai for 7 weeks (Bai had alot of troubles and would not latch on and lost weight as a result), I so wanted to feed him longer, but it was not possible. I have freinds ( and one now that is due soon), that dont even look at the aspect of breast feeding, they say it is not for them, and good on them, each to their own I say.

Re: Those who breast fed...
Ohhh lol,, well I think that you should feed your child as long as you feel the need for it, now in saying that I dont agree with 5 year olds being breast fed in public and if they choose to do so I think they should do that at home, Jay as I said was 36 months when I finally got him of the breast, but that was not for wanting to keep him on that long, when Bay was born I had just weaned Jay of the boob, and then he had all the troubles of feeding, so the doctors told me to put Jay back on the boob to keep my milk supply up for Bai, ( in which Jay loved it
), but if that was not the case I would have done the way I had 26 months, and just so you all know when I was feeding him at 32 to 36 months it was in private only at home, and only the morning and night feed, ( just to keep the supply there).

A freind of a friend still breast feds her child and he is 9, she goes to the school at lunch time and feeds him in her car, Now to me that is WRONG, but again each to their own.
