Re: It's expensive to be female

Daily my boyfriend and I are par for par.
He uses expensive body gel & I use expensive face cream.
He uses the same toothpaste & same brand of toothbrush.

The only time it becomes unhinged is that I use conditioner and 3 x deordants; but he uses 1 deordant and only shampoo.
Then again I don't use expensive feet moisturisers like he does.

Re: It's expensive to be female

The cost of tampons and pads really makes me mad. It's not like we can go without.

I'm not big on makeup so what little I have lasts me ages (and BF's mum always buys tonnes of AVON when it's on sale for no reason other than it's on sale so usually palms off heaps to me, I have so many lipsticks I will never use, JUST IN CASE i ever need them ).

Hair stuff is the killer for me and BF. My hair is down to my butt and his is Long too, we go through the shampoo and conditioner like there is no tomorrow and it's not cheap. I've just dyed my hair back to it's natural colour so I can stop dying it because with long hair I have to use two packets every time so that cost really adds up.

And who says non replacable I have to buy new tweezers every time I get a splinter cause my last pair has magically dissapeared... I swear there must be 20 pairs of tweezers lost in my lounge or something.

I truly cant comprehend how you can ( or do) support your DD, she is older enough and needs to fend for herself, ( just IMO) thou.

    Here too!

I forgot to add. The cream I get for my pimples is expensive but really worth it. We buy chemist strength deodorant for BF which costs a bit more too but he needs it with all the outdoor work and stuff he does.

On the upside though, I never have to buy nailpolish, BF has a huge suply yes you heard correctly BF has a HUGE SUPPLY! he makes fishing flies so he uses it to paint them.

Re: It's expensive to be female

My DH quite often tells me that he is glad that he has me as I do not cost him much...... And I remind him of that all the time

I am not a big jewellry person, or makeup or shoes and clothes...... I just buy as I need though I must admit it must having turned 50 that all of a sudden I have a passion for clothes.............

Ell I must tell DH about the nail polish as he has been know to do fishing flys..........
