    Am I mean?

Jay got a new RAZOR PRO ( scooter) for his bday on Sat, and has been told many many many a times DO NOT RIDE IT IN THE HOUSE, well as It is just me at home he has continued to do so, ( he would not if Dad was here), but he was doing it again tonight and ( bare foot) and got his toe nail caught ( how i have no idea) and has ripped his toe nail off, I have bandaged it and done all the first aid things with it, but still told him it is his own fault as he was warned .

    Re: Am I mean?

LOL Ohh I have given him everything darl, but still angry at him cos IF dad was here he would not have done that, just does not listen to me sometimes. When I said ripped it off, it is still there ( in a kind of way), I rang the nurse line and they told me what to do, but I am still annoyed cos how many times does it take to tell your child that it is not a good thing to ride scooters with NO shoes , let alone in our house . Well loooks like i will have no sleep again tonight, as we all know boys are so much worse than girls with pain .

Ohhh just thought Maybe he wants to go and see Dad, so will hurt himself and end up in hospital

Jesus....I would have sent him to school wearing a sandal.....and I have

Serves him right. Sometimes they have to hurt themselves to get the message.

Not at all mean, we tell our kids rules for a reason, not cos we are nasty but to protect them and others. My son would have lost it for a week lol.
