Printers
Ok its time for a new printer, my current is a HP all in 1 that is about 7yrs old & I hate to think how much printing it has done over the years!!
Its starting to give up the ghost, it will print colour but not black & I have replaced the cartridge, cleaned the head, done every test thingo & print thing on it but nup wont print black at all. currently letters, assignments, invoices etc are being printed in dark grey via the colour cartridge.
I am thinking of getting a wireless one as I often want to print from the lappy & I am thinking of getting the kids lappy's for Xmas. So does anyone have a wireless printer?? Can you tell me honestly if they are good or bad please??

Re: Printers
We do have one, and it's really useful. I love that I can print without worrying about which computer I'm at blah blah blah ... Ours is actually in the study and I'm almost never in there (too messy). If you're getting some laptops as well (and presumably the kids will need to print homework and stuff) then it will definitely be worthwhile IMO.

We have a wireless lexmark printer, I have only used it a few times since we have had it (about 8 months I think) It works well and is definately handy as I use a laptop.

Re: Printers
Ours is networked....so we can print from anywhere in the house. I don't think it is wireless per se, more that we have a wireless network which communicates with our server to which the printer is attached.
That's enough for our needs currently....the next one I get might be an all in one with a fax built in as well.
