    Re: Super

I've been chucking extra into my super since I started work. There should be a healthy amount in there if I retire at 65yo but preferably I would like to retire earlier than that so I put more in there at every opportunity. Surprisingly when just about every super fund had a loss during the Global Economic Crisis, mine went up. It usually gains about $15k in a year and with the GEC it still gained $2k. John's on the other hand lost about $10k but it has made that amount back by now. Between us both, we should be comfortable in our golden years.

Stormy,as I am an orphan would you like to adopt me?? I am house trained ,quiet and I don't drink or party .....much :

We don't have Super here anymore, KPis on a final salary scheme and thanks to Gordon Brown, when he was Chancellor, giving employers a break from paying in their share, it looks like being peanuts

OW I'm not sure I could legally adopt someone that is older than me to be my dependent. Nice try though!
