Re: Super
I've been chucking extra into my super since I started work. There should be a healthy amount in there if I retire at 65yo but preferably I would like to retire earlier than that so I put more in there at every opportunity. Surprisingly when just about every super fund had a loss during the Global Economic Crisis, mine went up. It usually gains about $15k in a year and with the GEC it still gained $2k. John's on the other hand lost about $10k but it has made that amount back by now. Between us both, we should be comfortable in our golden years.
