We just received our electricity bill

and we have bought it down by a dramatic amount - an average of $350+ to $235
I've been turning off things at the power points and really paying attention and it worked. With Ergon energy they also include a sheet that tells you what your usage compared to the average usage of householders in your area - we use 29% less than the average householder
I am so relieved...

well arent you lucky, our power bill is at the lowest $700 and the highest $869. But we do have a pool, air con, spa, but I am going to do what you have done and cut down on the inside things, we have 4 pcs going 5 tellys so yeah I will def cut down. Great Job PPP.

Oh Mes that is not good at all....... I have never ever paid more that $500 for a qtr and the only difference here at the time is that we do not have the spa but we do have Foxtel in three rooms but for a household of 5 people for you I still find that quite excessive...... !!

but we are not savvy with turning lights off etc so am going to try now lol. In Vic i never had a power bill higher than $200. but that was nearly 10 years ago, and we didnt have a pool spa or computers. Who knows.
