Re: Aldi Supermarket
Our Aldis are quite large and have at least 6 check outs, not two. Packing the bags myself doesn't bother me bu i do like to grocery shop, I find it theraputic. (sp)
I like there paper towel too, not the four pack the two pack. Its very strong and thick and cheap. Their twisties, hubby loves those and the kids love their museli bars and these things called ropes. i get their party pies and frozen pizza's and their raisen bread. the kids and hubby love that stuff so I can now get it for them weekly and 2 loaves a week cos its half the price of the tip top one. Yep I can get a fair bit from there and be happy with it

Re: Aldi Supermarket
Within a 10 mile radius,I've got 10 supermarkets
including 2 lydl,1 Aldi, 4 Tesco,1 Morrisons,1 Asda and 1 Sainsburys
Plus a few Spar, shops and small grocery stores
Not that I'm bragging of course,
I live in a small market town about 20 miles from the nearest big city
Napolean said we were a nation of shopkeepers,he wasn't to know how true that would become
I buy odd things from Lydl, mostly I shop at Tesco cos it's nearest.IF I AM NOT ON HERE, IT IS BECAUSE I AM DOING HOUSEWORK BECAUSE MY COMPUTOR HAS BROKEN!

Re: Aldi Supermarket
I buy at Aldi as well, when I have the energy. I usually buy everything that I can from there, except the steak. I buy mince and chicken, but all my other meat I buy from the butchers.
All the school snacks for the kids are great!! The yogherts, butters, cheeses, ice creams, milk and choccy milk, chips, are all good as well.
I spent $170 there yesterday, and if I had shopped at Coles it would have been a $300 shop, easily.

Re: Aldi Supermarket
I have an Aldi near me and I do my weekly shop there, anything I cant get I then get from Coles or Woolies.
this saves me $100 a week. I think of the thousands of dollars I have spent over the years on groceries and have to say : Aldi thanks!!

Re: Aldi Supermarket
Aldi Chicken Nuggets (Tempura, the best) are fabulous and about $2 cheaper than Woolies.
They also have a wonderfull product called Popcorn Prawns, about $6 for 600g and they are beautifull and last forever. LOVE EM.
The kids love the Smackeroos chocolate biscuits, the coco Puffs and the Fruit Rings, all about half the cost of the major supermarkets.
Love Aldi, LOVE IT.EARTH IS THE INSANE ASLYUM FOR THE UNIVERSE
