    A very close friend of mine is just into the first couple of days of her cruise of a lifetime..Have heard she is seasick and the waves are really big..

    I am a bit worried about her now..She was over the moon with excitement. She is with her DH, sister and sis's DH. Not sure how long the cruise is for..I wonder if they would turn back if it was too rough..
    They are on the Pacific Dawn..Have just heard she was in bed all day yesterday, Waves are or were 5 metres and 50 knot winds..They have bypassed Noumea. Hopefully things will be fine.

    They look scary!! Theres no chance of them joining up and making a super cyclone is there?? I know nothing about cuclones and their habits,so don't know if that would even be possible??

    Fascinating to watch them swirling around.....from the safety of the desk.
    I think your friend is going to have a very rough time Cherie, no matter where the boat goes. However the medical personnel on board will be expert in Mal de Mer and will make her as comfortable as possible.
