My Kitchen Rules...........(not about tv.....about food)

Love MKR..........not normally a fan of "reality tv" but for some reason this show has got me sucked in......haven't missed an episode. Vic boys did great last night.

Any other fans found there has been any influence on their cooking? Might just be a coincidence......my empty nest stage.......but I have found that this show has definitely had an influence on particularly the way I present a meal. Has become quite a joke really.........on the odd occasion DD has been over with her BF........I get marked on imagination, flavour and presentation!!!!

It's really got me thinking about combination of flavours, contruction of meal on the place, garnishing, etc..........

Love cooking but even after probably 36 years of cooking........still have too do some internet research on different terminologies.

Don't watch the show but I know what you mean about cooking and presentation.

MY DH likes to cook on week ends and to but different flavors together, He gets inspirations from yes cooking shows and all the cook books sitting on the shelf .
and he do focus on taste and presentation..

My Mum was telling me she loves this show, I should really watch it, as I am a fantastic cook,and it doesnt hurt to learn more.
