Twilight fans ... Bree Tanner book
I might be slow off the mark with this, but if you like the Twilight series, her latest book about Bree Tanner (the vampire taken captive during the big battle in book, um, 3??) is available to read online for free for another two weeks, at http://www.breetanner.com but you can't download or print it, just read it online. Otherwise it's available from bookstores (I think KMart has it for $12? I'd go for the free online version. It's not a long story).

Re: Twilight fans ... Bree Tanner book
I am slack!
I have read Twilight & New Moon.
I have to finish Eclipse before the movie comes out...and then, there is Breaking Dawn.
Thanks! Will have to get to Bree's book!

Re: Twilight fans ... Bree Tanner book
I find it a bit strange that there is a book about someone who was not even in a full chapter of the book.
Has anyone read it yet? Is it worth reading?

Yeah I agree Nicole. I won't be reading this because it seems like a blatant grab at $$$ from Twilight fans.. I mean who the hell is Bree Tanner? I've read Eclipse 4 times now and I still don't know who she is so quite frankly I don't care....
I'd much rather have read a book about Riley, at least his character is interesting enough to stand out.

I just wish she'd finish Midnight Sun. I actually find the beginning of the story much more insightful from his perspective than hers was. Also, I hate starting a book and not finishing it, so I just want to read the rest of it.

Re: Twilight fans ... Bree Tanner book
I've read it online which you can do for free until midnight tonight... It was okay I guess but no I wouldn't pay money for it at KMart since it does seem like a cash grab for the movie (not unlike the twenty different 'biographies' about Robert Pattinson suddently popping up like toadstools
) and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Midnight Sun released around the time of the final movies release.
It only gives one pertinent piece of information we didn't already have in the entire book (which I won't spoil here) the rest is all 'Vampires terrorise Seattle etc' and information we already got from reading Eclipse.'There's a pink suede elephant in the middle of the room and no-one's allowed to talk about it!' - Miranda Hobbs

I read Midnight Sun too and quite enjoyed it. As you said Naomi, it is good to get his perspective on the story.

Re: Twilight fans ... Bree Tanner book
I found the chapters of Midnight Sun that have been made public were a much better read than Twilight in its entirety. Edward's perspective lent more weight and understanding to the story...and Stephenie Meyer is a rather simplistic writer, but with Midnight Sun her skills seem to be much more honed. Much better reading. Much.
I didn't mind The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner; it was nothing more than it professed to be, a novella, an accompaniment to Eclipse, but a boon for Twi-Hards (which I am not) and a quaint distraction for others.
