Re: Farmer Wants a Wife - here we go again...
Felt sorry for Shaun. Michelle did seem to lead him on. Maybe she just didn't like him enough.
I thought the blonde one of Devon's who talked to his parents was a bit strange too. Asking if they were worried he'd leave hopetown.
What was she thinking? I like Devon but hate the town - think he will leave for me?
I don't understand why women who have had no experience of a farm or remote life would apply for this show. One said her only experience with a farm was she had an friend (or someone) who once had a farm but she never visited it!!!
Their attitude is astounding. I think one of the questions at the beginning should be: have you ever visited a farm or lived in a remote situation. That would cut a few of the "make up and high-heels" crew out at the beginning.

I agree with what you said ....that girl that asked Devons parents that ?? she looked stupid
he doesnt want to leave Hopetoun .His parents would instantly think ..she is not the girl for him ...if she is already thinking about him leaving the farm
stupid girl

Re: Farmer Wants a Wife - here we go again...
The reason that they apply is for FAME AND FORTUNE!!
They want their 15 seconds of fame. I think there might be a couple of genuineish people on there but it still is a tv show so I don't know...
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your pet. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

The couple from last year - brad and stacey (is that right?) they weren't in it for fame and fortune! They were genuine. The cowboy hat guy (again from last year) just wanted the fame and so did the girl he picked.

Can't see Channel 9 doing another season, it has dived in the ratings this year.
Most of the girls seem like complete air heads."Assumptions are the tools of fools and the bedfellows of dreamers. If you want to know something just ask..."

My SIL lives at Hopetoun.
TO KNOW SOMEONE HERE OR THERE WITH WHOM YOU FEEL THERE IS AN UNDERSTANDING IN SPITE OF DISTANCES OR THOUGHTS UNEXPRESSED----THAT CAN MAKE OF THIS EARTH A GARDEN.
