    Water/sewerage bill!!!!

    Just received the water&sewerage bill from Urban Utilities(council no longer handles water charges here).
    I am a single person living alone, and very sparing with my water usage.
    So - Fixed access charges -
    Water: $40.74
    Sewerage: $115.03
    My total personal water usage charge:$22.08
    So regardless of how sparing you are with your water usage, you still get slugged with these "fixed charges"!
    Bummer!!

    Yes....I posted yesterday how shocked I was by the recent water bill.....the fixed charges really hurt.
    I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

    Weather it be or weather it not Heather complains 'cause it's far from hot
    Her disdain for the rain is catching on quickly To Mad Old Cow she can be quite prickly
    Grab jumper, a scarf or even a dog.
    That'll warm you up, you jolly great snob!!

    And even if I didn't use my toilet, and did all my biz in the yard(quite possible in a yard this size) I would still have to pay for sewerage connection.

    I cant say I have ever read my water bill that closely but it has never been over $50 in the last 4 years we have lived where we are. I would be calling the company and asking for a deal.
