how to prevent Keloid Scar forming from Caesarian?

Was also wondering if anyone know of anything I can do to avoid keloid forming on my Caesar scar?

I had emergency c-section 2 yrs ago and that left me with a keloid scar: the scar was raw, red, thick, raised, itchy all the time and hurts a lot if i scratched it.

This time I had to have caesar as well and my OB tried to remove the old scar and give me a new one, hopefully keloid won't form this time. But I can feel the scar is starting to go raised and getting itchy again.

I heard Bio-oil might help a bit...is there any other products that can help preventing keloids forming?

I don't know about the products... But I think nothing can prevent it. I also have such a problem, 10 y ago, used special expensive creme, but it didn't help ((
Try to remove scar with laser

Oi, sorry can't help.... I'm also a caesar birther but by the sounds of it thankfully i never had that problem A.... however, I'm sure there will be someone here who can give you some sound advise. Does it cause you continuous discomfort.... no relief indefinitely?? and laser treatment as SM suggested what does yr doc say?

Cryosurgery & Interferon seem to be the best.
But then again you might need to talk about it with a dermatologist.
Prevention might not be possible as you might be predisposed.
