Vets sure do know how to charge. They do make you feel guilty too and the buggas won't let you pay them off. Something isn't quite right about that I reckon.

Hope your furball goes ok, the eye is a horrible place to have something wrong.

Hope that the medication and treatment works.....and that she's reasonably compliant with the treatment.

We don't really have a medical aid scheme over here SG...unless you take out pet insurance and if you do that, you have to do it while they are relatively young. Most insurance places won't accept pets who are over 7yrs (or so) or if they have pre-existing conditions prior to taking out the policy.

I do understand though....they have to be able to cover the overhead of their veterinary practice somehow.
