Nobody on their death bed ever said "I wish I'd spent more time at the office".
Life's a pretty precious and wonderful thing. You can't sit down and let it lap around you....you have to plunge into it.
We are living on this planet as if we had another one to go to.

Re: Goodbye little Skye my friend
Tears are flowing Jen and Nicole....it truly is the hardest decision to make but it was the best.
You were a very lucky little girl Skye.I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.
Weather it be or weather it not Heather complains 'cause it's far from hot

Grab jumper, a scarf or even a dog.
That'll warm you up, you jolly great snob!!

Re: Goodbye little Skye my friend
Tears keep flowing here to H

I know we did the right thing but 11 years is a large portion of our life to have that special something with you.
She was so loyal the kids would always know where I was because Skye would be with me.
I can remember when I had an operation a couple of years ago before we got Little Lucy Skye laid on the floor beside me all the time when I came home

Great memories Jen I put in a memorial for her on my pet forum I hope that's alright Jen?
TO KNOW SOMEONE HERE OR THERE WITH WHOM YOU FEEL THERE IS AN UNDERSTANDING IN SPITE OF DISTANCES OR THOUGHTS UNEXPRESSED----THAT CAN MAKE OF THIS EARTH A GARDEN.

Jen
I am so very sorry, I know you will miss Skye very much

Re: Goodbye little Skye my friend
Big hugs to you Jen.
The Last Battle
If it should be that I grow frail and weak
and pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this--the last battle--can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
Don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
What is to come can hold no fears
You'd not want me to suffer, so.
When the time comes, please let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me til the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
it is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close--we two--these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
