Re: Goodbye little Skye my friend
Thanks Rach and Mel
I bought Little Lucy a little pink toy bone today she is lonely and a bit sad I hate how she looks at me with her sad eyes.
But that cheered her up

Jen i do believe dogs grieve as well because when our Princess died our Duchess went from being a total nutbag to a very quiet reserve dog for 6 months to the day Princess left us so just be aware incase Little Lucy feels the loss as well

Re: Goodbye little Skye my friend
Yes Jen but it honestly took her 6 full months to come back to herself again but animals are like us they all grieve differently so if Lucy does grieve i hope it will be short lived

Re: Goodbye little Skye my friend
The vet said yesterday that if Lucy is dominant over Skye (which she was) that she will fret for her for a little while because she won't have anyone to dominant. If it was the other way around, she would cope a bit better.

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your pet. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

Gentle reassurance Jen.....probably her way of saying something's wrong.....but I'm sure you know that already.
I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.
Weather it be or weather it not Heather complains 'cause it's far from hot
Her disdain for the rain is catching on quickly To Mad Old Cow she can be quite prickly
Grab jumper, a scarf or even a dog.
That'll warm you up, you jolly great snob!!

Poor wee Lucy....

Nobody on their death bed ever said "I wish I'd spent more time at the office".
Life's a pretty precious and wonderful thing. You can't sit down and let it lap around you....you have to plunge into it.
We are living on this planet as if we had another one to go to.

She really is a cutie Jen. I think she would be a great playmate. Too bad Daisy has turned me off dogs altogether.. The demanding little so and so..LMAO
How cute is this!
