Re: Too old fashioned
Nothing I can say H that hasn't already been said just explain to her and your son that there are house rules she has to tell her parents where she is staying and separate rooms..my stepson tried that once with me I found out she was under 16 and I told him and her that she had to go home..too bad if your son and her are upset they will just walk all over you if you let them get away with it you deserve more respect than that.
TO KNOW SOMEONE HERE OR THERE WITH WHOM YOU FEEL THERE IS AN UNDERSTANDING IN SPITE OF DISTANCES OR THOUGHTS UNEXPRESSED----THAT CAN MAKE OF THIS EARTH A GARDEN.

Re: Too old fashioned
I actually wrote that, then thought it was too harsh
My thoughts too Dizzy (do you mind if I call you that?)...both the lack of respect to all and perhaps more so to my baby growing even further from me
...you mean there will be more?
Sam was told the next day that at the moment I would prefer separate bedrooms should the occasion arise more as a mark of respect to herself and that if I ever found out again she had lied to her parents re her staying over then I would hand her the phone to call them or order a taxi for her.
Have just returned from picking them up......had a little chat in the car and at the moment all is hunky dory.....she will phone her parents after they have a little dinner...must go and start it.I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.
Weather it be or weather it not Heather complains 'cause it's far from hot
Her disdain for the rain is catching on quickly To Mad Old Cow she can be quite prickly
Grab jumper, a scarf or even a dog.
That'll warm you up, you jolly great snob!!

Re: Too old fashioned
Yes.....they are outside and I can hear what is going on....more just general conversation I guess so that they get to know each other better.
Oh and to answer your question she is 17 and from New Zealand, sort of knew Sam from school....and she thoroughly enjoyed the movie "Inception"....has a bit of a mouth on her....(but hey, just because I don't swear) her Father is a Chef.Found out this from her during the trip home.I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

Re: Too old fashioned
Heather i think 17 is to young for her to be staying over no matter where she's sleeping and its a wonder her parents werent out screaming blue murder as to why she wasnt at home......
and to have a bit of a mouth on her in someone elses home is a huge worry it shows blantant disrespect and this must be how she is at home...
i would be watching her like a hawk then dropping her home..
good luckMelinda

Well she has spoken to me
......I guess it's because whenever I met a BF parents, I went out of my way to be polite etc....just thought that maybe times had changed drastically over the past 40 years.
