Hmmm, I know this is terribly old-fashioned of me - but I still prefer reading from .... uummm... books ..... you know, they are made of paper and you turn the pages

I quite enjoy ereading. It's much easier to hold, it's backlit (so no need for a bedside lamp), and you can have a whole lot of books that don't take up any space. What I loathe are the geographic restriction issues. I'm so sick of it, I'm heading back to physical books because I just can't buy what I want.

No, don't get me wrong, I was very much in the "if it isn't a physical book, it's not the same" camp until I realised how convenient it was to have an ereader (I actually use my phone - so it's always with me anyway ... imagine having an extensive library with you no matter where you go ... no more waiting with boredom in Drs waiting rooms or wasting time on buses, I always have my books with me).

But, Naomi, cant you take a real book to the Drs surgery etc where you are expecting a waiting time?
Thats what I do.

I think there's a place for both things I love my books but an e reader would be cool.
TO KNOW SOMEONE HERE OR THERE WITH WHOM YOU FEEL THERE IS AN UNDERSTANDING IN SPITE OF DISTANCES OR THOUGHTS UNEXPRESSED----THAT CAN MAKE OF THIS EARTH A GARDEN.
