Could you be without your mobile for 1 month?
- I don't have kids;
- My intimidate family lives interstate;
- I have a fully functioning home phone.
I'm thinking about turning my phone off Tuesday night for 1 month.
I think everyone knows that I've been sick this last week or more & I haven't received any inbound text/phone calls (except from Princess). But I'm a bit fearful that I might be over isolating myself.
Any thoughts/comments?

Very rarely use mine....still prefer the land line.

Re: Could you be without your mobile for 1 month?
I could live without the phone function (easily) and the text function (if I had to) but would be bereft if I couldn't access my email and use my other apps. Realistically most of my communication is done by text or email though, I rarely use the land line (I have to pay for those calls, email is free and I have texts included in my plan that I pay for regardless so I might as well use them - so it's essentially costless for me to email or text, or even call on my mobile - I haven't yet used all my included calls/texts in a month).
So probably, no.
Oh, and yes I use an iphone, though not always within proximity (particularly when I'm home) but always accessible if need be.

could live without it no trouble, i quite often leave it in my bag then put the bag in my wardrobe and forget about the phone.

I could live without it...no trouble at all! Actually I have done what your thinking of doing and it feels liberating and quite freeing
