Copying files
I have a folder on hubbys laptop with pictures of Skye I want to copy them on to a jumpstick so I can get them printed.
BUT
when I highlight the pictures and try to copy this comes up?
Error copying file or folder Skyes Pictures.
Cannot create or replace the directory or file cannot be replaced.
I would appreciate some advice on how to fix this

Huh?..

Re: Copying files
Maliss I am at work so I dont have that computer here but the file I am trying to copy is quite large and the stick is a good one I think it has a 3 on it?
But even if I try to copy just one photo it has the same command?

Re: Copying files
You'd probably need to format the jumpdrive. Do you have XP? Vista? 7?

Re: Copying files
You could zip the file; that might change it signifcantly to allow transfer.

Re: Copying files
Also, you could put the files into a sub-folder off another folder & that might work.
In the jump drive create new folder. Open this folder & create a Skye Pix folder then transfer all the photos into the sub folder.

Re: Copying files
Try this and see if it works
Make some folders on your desktop name them what you want. E.g. “Pictures 1”, “Pictures 2” etc
Then "move" or "cut" not copy all the photos from the laptop into the folders on the desktop.
Once all the photos are in the folders on the desktop, cut the folders off the desktop and paste onto the jumpstick.
