Re: Target Toy Sale Terms and Conditions 2011

Hahaa yes we get that a lot, people are also upset about "being herded". (as the customer puts it) We call it having a single queue at Checkouts, Electronics and our layby department. But it is a fair system that actually can take less time to line up.

I actually love the "herding" system cause I'm one of those people who always seems to find myself behind the person with problems that take forever to sort out.
I usually pay everything on my layby except for $1 when I put it on that way you guys have to store it for me untill christmas and I don't have to worry about it (tax returns are great for christmas shopping).

I presume you dont live in SA Melinda - this is standard practice everywhere here - single use disposable bags have been banned for some time - a year or so - and you either pay 15 c for one at shop or take your own re-usable green bags shopping

The Associate, I have read through all your posts and I cant see anything confidential - you are just explaining lay by terms and store policies - all public information - would love to have you join us in other threads

Yeah i'll agree Mandi, there isn't enough choice online and the navigation options are really dodgey.. Kaylene, we get "talked" to over Facebook, any mention of Target on your profile and you are in the managers office. :/
We just resort to calling it "you know where"

Re: Target Toy Sale Terms and Conditions 2011

I love the herding system. I get served a lot quicker these days and I always take a couple of reusable shopping bags so no dramas there. Besides, the fee for a shopping bag is chump change compared to the items I usually buy.

Not into the Toy Sale stuff though....unless of course they have a Limited Edition Star Wars XBox 360 Kinect console.

Nope sorry! We do have a pretty good deal with the Xbox Kinect bundle, check it out here.
