    "The Cup" new Aussie movie

"The Cup" the film is based on the winning ride by jockey Damien Oliver in the 2002 Melbourne Cup, a week after his brother’s death.

Visually is looks great, seems to have some fantastic actors. It is really good to see some fantastic Australian movies being shown this year.

    Red Dog being another.

    Oranges and Sunshine

    Mad Bastards

Face to Face while brilliant isn't main stream and just won't find the audience numbers (it has Vince Colosimo and Sigrid Thornton).

Eye of the Storm (seeing next week) with Geoffrey Rush and Judy Davis.

I've come across very few poorly made Australian movies.

I love Auusie movies of late..
Not sure if I would go and see *The Cup* though as it is not what interests me.

I'll see it when it comes out. I have a voucher from the cinema so the ticket is cheaper!
