Another toddler driveway accident
Another toddler has been killed in a drive way accident. It's the third in the media this week ... I can't imagine how devastating it is for the families, and it's just horrific to read it and think, why?

Re: Another toddler driveway accident
I think that first one was the most shocking where she hit the accelorator instead of the breaks. What a tragic mistake! I worry when I back out because we have heaps of children and pets that run behind the car and all over the road.

Re: Another toddler driveway accident
I never reverse unless any child in the vicinity is holding an adult's hand and I make them all stand to the side of the car where I can see them or I am not going anywhere! I am so paranoid about it as accidents happen so easily. It is so tragic
We have 3 cars and often move them in and out of the yard to shift them or rotate which one goes in the shed etc and we have an agreement that the cars NEVER get moved unless Sophia is either in the car with the driver or in the arms of the non driver, who then gives the driver the okay to go. You can never be too careful with kids around cars.

Re: Another toddler driveway accident
Both my ex and I felt the same way....if we were moving our cars in the driveway, Sam was always strapped into my car....always.
Same with the animals.....if I was reversing out and saw one of the cats I always stopped and checked on their whereabouts.....didn't care if it delayed me.....I wouldn't take the chance.I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

Re: Another toddler driveway accident
There have been 8 such incidents over the past two years, with vehicles reversing over children, just tragic.
