Dude of Honour biscuit - icing... help!

    Hey inventive women of AFW.

I want to make one of these for my 'Dude of Honour'; but I don't know how to make the icing... I need to fly it up to QLD also - where it will go through the mail system (express of course). So it will need to be stable.

    Help please

Oh, accept... it'd be a gingerbread man... I have these cookie cutters & want to use them.

    Malum tractanda.

Just make sure you buy Pure icing sugar...and sift it.

No idea, just normal icing I'd say. We have a bunch of ninja-bread men on our bench at the moment that my SIL (not the awful one) made for us and she just used normal icing. It is 'stable' in that it sets 'hard' iykwim, I put them in a lunch box yesterday and the icing was fine, but the heads fell off the biscuits so you'd probably need to put them on cardboard and bubble wrap them somehow (she just bagged them in cellophane bags, which looks great, but would need some extra support if posting.)

Is the paper edible? Or are you looking for edible? That would probably need to come from a specialty cake shop.

Sounds good.....maybe wrap your man in rice paper first (as it's edible and shouldn't taint) then bubble wrap then into a box.
I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.
