My beautiful husband died 3 months ago
Hello Everyone,
It has taken me weeks of searching the net for group of Australian women. It looks like I have found the right place now.
In brief, I was married for 24 years, divorced and then met a wonderful man who lived 2000 miles from me. Eventually I moved to
SE Queensland to be with him. After 3 years we decided to get married and planned our wedding for late this
year. In June of this year he was feeling tired and losing a lot of weight and was soon diagnosed with stage four kidney
cancer that had spread to both lungs at only 44 years of age.. There was nothing anyone could do for him. Our wedding
was brought forward and we had a very simple but amazing day with some family and very close friends. Three weeks
later my beautiful husband passed away in my arms at home - after a short 11 week fight.
We were together for four years and married for three weeks.
I miss him so much and while I have some lovely friends that I work with I am all alone up here and would love to meet
some new people. I live in a beautiful place and have the water right across the road from me but its hard to enjoy all of
that alone. Im not looking for sympathy just some laughs and company.
Love to hear from anyone who is in a similar situation or just wants to chat.

I just noticed I called you Cackie earlier..Sorry .I didn't have my glasses on...
Your right Cackle....Cancer is a stinking rotten disease and I could think of a few other things to call it too but not appropriate for in here.

I have a lovely family Melinda but they are all in other states. They have all come up here a few times in the last few months which has been fabulous. Computers are a wonderful invention, I can chat to them when I want but its not quite the same as having them here.
Thanks Frannie for your lovely message. You have all put a smile on my face tonight....I think if the wind changed I would have had an awful frown earlier.

Orthopedontery - love it!! LMAO I was telling a perpetually single friend about a new boyfriend I had (who is now my DH2B), and she was very keen to meet him... without thinking I blurted out...
