IBooks
Does anyone know of another program like Ibooks where you can download books on your computer/Ipad.
IBooks is great but I can't find a lot of the books Im looking for.
I would be grateful of any suggestions as its hard to get to a good bookstore.

Re: IBooks
You can use the kindle app which is free and download books from amazon. You will need an amazon account and pay for the book bu they are cheap and they have many freebies. Plus you can find so many books, basically if it has been published as an ebook amazon will have it. You can browse their selection of ebooks at the amazon website in the kindle store before making a decision so you know what they have.

Re: IBooks
Fantastic chickenbub. I have bought my first book. Still trying to find my way around amazon and how it works. Pity you can't download movies the same as you do books. I tried to watch a tv show on there but have to live in the US to do that apparently.
Thanks for the link...

Re: IBooks
Ereader and Stanza are other ebook apps. I've used both, as well as Kindle. I've never actually used the ibooks app

And you can download movies through iTunes. Or get a VPN and pretend you're in the US.

Re: IBooks
I haven't used those apps before Naomi but Ibooks is really good because you can download the sample and read up to 150 pages before you decide to make a purchase.
The movies I like on iTunes are quite expensive compared to Amazon..just a pity you can't download them on Amazon.
