Lite n Easy meals
Hey girls I was thinking about my diet it hasnt been great and I have put a few little kilos on that I would like to lose?
Now I only have myself to think about
I was looking at the Lite N easy plan for example a 7 day plan with ALL food for 7 days is $140 I thought someone tried the Lite N Easy how was it?
I probably cant afford it but I am curious if its a waste of money? But when you think the whole week of food is supplied so there shouldnt be any waste?

Re: Lite n Easy meals
It's the thought of forking out all that money (and where do you store the unused items) that puts me off trying it.
I did try a GF's fish meal some years ago.....bloody awful but then I'm not a big fan of fish unless it comes smothered in a sauce or from a can.I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

Re: Lite n Easy meals
But H isnt all that money that you would have used at the shops when grocery shopping? Maybe it would take away temptations that we waste our money on when out shopping?

Re: Lite n Easy meals
True......but I spend only that and a tad more to do ALL the grocery shopping for two of us per week. The only saving to me would be not having to cook when I got home.

Re: Lite n Easy meals
Your right Jen, $140 is not much to spend on groceries for the week's meals.
My sister did it and lost heaps of weight, she told me she loved it.
Everything has beauty, not everyone sees it.

I was saying to Di the other day I am still learning I find I am spending more when I go grocery shopping than I need to? I look in the trolley and think it seems a lot for one person?

Because you are used to buying for two.....took me a while before I stopped shopping for a family.....but now I have a teenager and his friends.

Re: Lite n Easy meals
Actually I think $140/week is quite pricey - my weekly grocery shop is around $180 - and thats for 2 people and includes cleaning products, toiletries, dog food, as well as our food.
So if we were to go on Lite and Easy we would be spending $280 (ie for 2 people) plus still paying for the non-food items on top of that. Much more than our current budget.
And does Lite and Easy cover all your food - like drinks as well, or do you just drink water (I can't do without my coffee so would still need to buy coffee and milk if nothing else)

Re: Lite n Easy meals
Jen its worth it IMO, i have done the 3 meals a few times and you do loose weight , you need to think you cant put a price on your health so its worth the $$$$
you ahve all you need and you end up with no waste....
if you want to just do the dinners and do your brekkie and lunch you can do it that way also.....i mean a few weet bix and lunch you could organise....
i have been buying the dinners for about 2 years now for the whole family i am happy with them as i am very time poor...not just for shopping but cooking and cleaning up...Sparkles
