    Incoming Mail Problem

    I am hoping someone can help me here..Up until yesterday my mail was working fine. I don't know if I have done something or whether it is something else..but..I can not get my mail in..It keeps saying no connection to the server, and a red cross comes beside the accounts as well as the word Fail..I really need this for DH work more than myself. I have tried all I can think of but am wondering what I am missing..Can you help..

    The Bigpond email server is down so that affects all customers' emails, not your internet connection.

    Its got to do with the big Telstra database stuff up, they have pulled down a lot of the system. We still have Internet access but no access to our accounts, emails or personal information. Which sucks big time as I have been waiting on some very important coerespondance via email!

    I rang Telstra about 6 this morning to see if I could get my email fixed ( not knowing there was an outage) why didnt Joe my little mate tell me there was a problem before he wasted nearly an hour trying to fix it????
    Obviously the left hand isnt talking to the right hand???
