    Question whats ap

    anyone have these ap on their I phone.....

    DD said once you have it for 99cents you can send SMS's internationally for free....i said it sounds to good to be true....

    I have it and I used to use it but now with iMessage with the os5 upgrade I prefer that.

    Also, I thought it used data to send the messages? So, not 'free' exactly.

    There are heaps of apps that allow free txt and also free calls between users but as Naomi said you use you data instead of your call plan. So if you have a mobile plan with a great data plan attached it works out great. By the way you can get free apps that do this too, eg viber. I just use iMessage with most of my friends now as well.
