What do you think of the current skirt fashion

Its a big trend at the moment to have dresses and skirts which are short at the front to show the legs but are long and flowy at the back. I really like it, I think you can wear it casually and dress it up to wear it out. Do you wear them, what colours, or if you dont like them, why?

A co-worker is 6 foot and her dress yesterday had this shirt style; I'm all for asymmetry... it lends symmetry to areas that aren't symmetrical.

For some reason I don't really like these skirts..My GD has one I think and it is pretty enough, but I think it is a passing fad just like many others. And yes I think if you were tall it would look much nicer.

Same as those tops I see everywhere that go down on the sides..I think the fashionista's think it is a way of
disguising being overweight, but they look dreadful. A straight longer top would look much better..I know because I have been there.

Sorry Binx I was not refering to anyone here on the forum..I should have just said they don't suit me.
It's just that I see them everywhere..Same as whatever fashion someone decides it going to be *in*..I don't think it suits everyone might have been a better thing to say.

I don't go by a style just wear what suits me but would never wear a skirt like that even if I was slimmer when I was a size 10 and 12 I still had solid legs don't think I'd get away with a skirt like that.

Those skirts are everywhere atm.

I prefer the long maxi skirts, saw a gorgeous one made by Wish, a couple of months ago, and I am kicking myself that I didn't buy it...I still think of it

Not a real fan of those short front/long back skirts.

So, No I dont wear them - but actually I dont wear any skirts at all.

Good to see you again redcarpetdresses - even if we do have different fashion styles

They don't suit me so no I don't like them. However I have seen others wear them and look great.
