    Techophobe....

    Ok, ok...so technology has never been something that I spend big money on.

    I never even purchased a walkman or a discman. My current desktop was made by my BIL free for babysitting credits.

    I refused to buy a set top box ever for the TV. I waited until a 32 inch digital LED TV went down to $500. Even then, after finding out it was a returned item, I asked for more off so picked it up for $470.

    My question....why are there so many channels now? Can you look at an online guide at all?

    I have foxtel so use their guide. I'd assume each of the FTA channels have their own program guides on their own websites.

    Oh and the number of channels has something to do with digital television and a change in legislation or something. I think.
